Follow in the famous footsteps of some of the UK's most famous golfers. Play the courses where Ian Woosnam and Scott Drummond learned their game.

It may have been Scotland that invented the game of golf, but it's in the Marches arguably, that the game can be played at its best. Those well-known wielders of the club, Sandy Lyle and Ian Woosnam for instance, both hail from here.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Marches, we're in Shropshire, England's largest and greenest county, located along the border with Wales. In fact in one of our clubs you can tee off in Wales and putt out in England!

All four of our Clubs are located within 20 minutes drive of each other and we are situated near the pretty Shropshire market town of Oswestry.

The scenery of our surrounding countyside is stunning and the diverse landscape offers new and exhilerating golfing challenges. As for those who bleat plaintively about being 'golf widows', fear not. Shropshire has a wide selection of fine shopping, restaurants and other attractions that will provide a welcome distraction.

Llanymynech Golf Club

It doesn't really matter when you want to come - or how long you decide to stay - the welcome will always be warm and the hospitality exceptional. So why not spoil yourself and book a few well-earned days away in the beautiful border countryside?

So why not come and visit us? The natives are friendly, the location idyllic and the golf par excellence...
