Oswestry Golf Club - Founded 1903

Set in gently undulating mature parkland, the friendly members course at Oswestry, which is well suited to players of all abilities, was designed by James Braid, who is renowned for his use of two tier greens. With good tees, beautiful fairways and quality greens, Oswestry Golf Club with its excellent drainage is ideal for all year round play.

The club has been awarded the EGU/STRI Environmental Award and the free draining soils ensure year round play.

Henlle Park Golf Club

This award-winning course is set in 130 acres of beautiful Georgian parkland with lakes and mature oaks. The park was originally laid out 200 years ago as part of the grounds of Henlle Hall. The undulating land and trees provide many varied and interesting holes with superb views of the surrounding Shropshire countryside. Greens constructed to the American PGA specification with full irrigation.

Mile End Golf Club

Mile End is run as a family business and since opening in 1996, the gently undulating course has rapidly become an extremely popular venue for golfers of all abilities. The modern club house is regularly enjoyed by members and visitors who also make full use of our floodlit driving range, putting green and other practice facilities.

The club's friendly atmosphere has always helped in attracting visitors to the 6292 yard, par 71 course.

Llanymynech Golf Course

Llanymynech is where Ian Woosnam learnt his golf and the course is known locally as 'The Hill'. This excellent 100 acre course gives golfers a unique opportunity to play in two countries for the price of one. On the 4th hole you actually drive off in Wales and putt out in England!

Bounded by Offa's Dyke and 7 of the old "shire" counties can be seen from the 12th tee.
