Out & About

Oswestry MarketAlthough Oswestry may be your base, you'll find our charming country towns fascinating. From the famous Ironbridge, near Telford, to Medieval Shrewsbury and gourmet Ludlow. From those Blue Remembered Hills of South Shropshire to the Meres, Mosses and canals of North Shropshire. Shropshire is the very heart of the heart of England and each town is ideal to indulge in a girls favourite pastime, shopping...

Shopping

Oswestry MarketShopping has always been a girls favourite activity and in Shropshire, you'll find shops aplenty.

Bargain hunters beware! Our town centres are crammed to bursting with the sort of independent retailers that many towns lost years ago. Each of our town centres are unique, many are an eclectic collection of historic period buildings and quaint little shops that are full of character. Not that we don't have the large stores you'll find in many towns, but in Shropshire they mingle effortlessley together, leaving the innocent shopper with a serious love affair.

Oswestry MarketIf you happen to be passing on market day, the town squares and main streets become lined with stalls that attract people from all around. The selection will leave you able to seriously bend the plastic and indulge in serious retail therapy.
